In the News

-Since replacing Clint Hurdle in Colorado, the Rockies are now 41-19 under Jim Tracy. Sure wish he showed the same type of managerial skill when he was in Pittsburgh.

-Another former Bucco was impressive last night. Tom Gorzelanny was stellar in his Cubs debut, throwing 7 1/3 innings and allowed just one run.

-The Penguins have added some experience behind the bench, as they have hired Tony Granato Assistant Coach. Granato played in 13 NHL seasons with the Rangers, Kings, and Sharks.

-Vote for Garret Jones, for the Pepsi MLB Clutch Performer of the Month.

-Pitt football is picked to win the Big East. West Virginia, Cincinnati, and USF round out the preseason top 4 spots respectively. And not a surprise at all, Syracuse is picked to finish last in the Big East.
